Recess at Snowden Farm Elementary is a great time for students to laugh, play, and enjoy movement.  Our school strongly values safety on our playground and therefore we have purposefully designed a playground using small sided games/activities as the model for our students.  Our recess equipment cart (see pic on right) was put together and labeled by our safety expert and Physical Education Teacher to increase success for everyone during recess.  All equipment is to be used in dedicated "zones" on the playground.  Students may choose to visit their favorite "zone" and play as long as they wish or they may roam freely around our climbing equipment or large field.  Students have many choices at recess at our school.
