Physical Education

Hi!  My name is Mr. Tom Benco and I am proud to be the full-time Physical Education Teacher at Snowden Farm Elementary School.  I have been teaching elementary P.E. for 21 years. I am married to my wife Natalie, who is also a teacher, and we have two daughters.  My personal interests include reading, disc and regular golfing, and rooting on my favorite teams, the Washington Nationals and Pittsburgh Steelers.  I also enjoy presenting at various PE workshops across our county and state.  Recently I was named the SHAPE Maryland Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year. I look forward to teaching your child as much as possible and it is my firm belief that P.E. is for everyBODY!
