Family Fit is Fun Day at Wilson Wims Elementary
The date was Saturday October 25th. The time was just after 9 o'clock in the morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning and families were starting to arrive. Everyone was excited to see what kinds of events we would have at our first annual Wilson Wims Fit is Fun Day. Check out the pictures below to see how the day progressed.
Warm-up!
Mr Kyle Sefcik of SoundShape Entertainment led all participants through a 15 minute fun warm-up exercising ALL muscles of our bodies. The movement and music experience was an exciting for all ages and ability levels. Way to go Mr. Sefcik!
Kid Cross-Fit!
Mr. Corey Smallwood of GoPerformance helped to lead youngsters and adults though a cross-fit style obstacle course throughout the morning. Mr Smallwood brought a TON of energy and enthusiasm for movement on this day and we hope hel will come back and join us for our Fit is Fun Day in 2015!

Being Fit is Fun for everyone at Wims!
Lily B. and her friend Faith L. had a wonderful time exploring all of the centers today. The tennis center was a huge hit and the participants enjoyed seeing a world record being set for the "world's fastest serve". Wow!
Thank you to the Clarksburg Sports Association Cheerleaders for coming out and supporting our event. Mid-way through the event the cheerleaders cheered for the community as participants were getting ready for the Fun Fit Walk around our school grounds.
